The Local Church

The Great Love of God

I thank the Lord that I can be here today to testify for Him. His great love has brought me back to Him.

I was baptized into Him in junior high school, but only met with the local church for two years while I was in college. I left the local church after I began working, chasing after fame and money. I did many things that did not please God and also hurt my wife. This continued even after I came to the United States.

I thank the Lord that He did not give up on me. Just when I was feeling that my life was vanity of vanities, and that all my striving was chasing the winds (Ecclesiastes 1:2, 14), He came to shine on me to show me that He is my true peace, joy, and rest. When I was struggling to deal with sins and to be freed from the bondage of sin, He comforted me and brought me to some Christian brothers who love the Lord out of a pure heart. It is all because of the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19) and the brothers' petition that I started to continually contact the Lord.

I have entrusted my future completely to the Lord. My home is for serving my Lord Christ. I shall rest in peace and joy no matter how He leads me and arranges my future, for I do only one thing--forgetting the things behind, stretching forward toward the goal (Philippians 3:13-14). Praise the Lord.
